Session Abstract
Myriad issues need to be addressed—and quickly—as instructors world-wide move courses online in response to the pandemic. One issue that is often overlooked is ensuring that our courses are welcoming and accessible to all learners, including those with disabilities that impact sensory, mobility, learning, speaking, and social skills. Sheryl will summarize challenges students with disabilities often face in online learning, accessible design tips for remote and hybrid courses, and resources for further learning.
